Normally an overpriced bill would lower my total review of a restaurant, and it honestly did a little bit here, but my meal at Lili’s was a negative one, and by the time the bill came, I just wanted it to go away so that I could leave and try and forget about this colorful albeit exhausting eating experience.

In conclusion, Sushi You is my favorite sushi restaurant in New York. They have the classics and they make them perfectly, in quality that should have people lining up around the block (luckily it isn’t too well known yet). They also have new and interesting rolls I haven’t seen anywhere else, and an atmosphere that is as comfortable as a tucked in NYC eatery can have. I gave this restaurant a score of 81, and you’ll be hard pressed to find me giving a score this high to any other restaurant I review.

In this blog, I’m hoping to map out the best meal experiences in my home city of New York, while giving you all a guide to the best places to have a memorable, wonderful, unhindered eating experience.
